We are an Early Years registered term-time only setting and our mission is to provide children of preschool age with a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where they can learn and grow through play. We pride ourselves on meeting the individual needs of every child, and promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion. Kindness and respect is our preschool's priority and all children’s emotional wellbeing is central to our ethos and teaching.
The Preschool provides a wide variety of age-appropriate resources and activities facilitated by experienced and knowledgeable staff to promote all areas of development and nurture strong foundations for learning. The children have free access to a large enclosed outdoor area and a smaller nature garden to learn and play while enjoying fresh air, freedom and being physically active.
We are a non-profit organisation with a voluntary management committee made up of parents and members of the local community. We promote a charitable ethos within our organisation and aim to put any profits we make back into the Preschool and to support the families within our community.
We provide a well planned and resourced outdoor learning space that the children can access freely throughout each preschool session.
We believe that all children should have the opportunity to experience and enjoy the special nature of being outdoors. Our provision provides an inclusive complementary environment that enhances and extends our indoor learning space and utilises what is different and unique about the outdoors.
We have a wide variety of policies and procedures covering many topics.
